THE BENEFITS OF FACIAL GYMNASTICS

Facial gymnastics, also known as facial yoga, is a technique that aims to tone, strengthen and stimulate the muscles of the face to improve the health and appearance of the skin. This practice is inspired by traditional yoga, which uses postures and breathing exercises to improve the overall health of the body.
Facials have gained popularity in recent years, especially among those seeking natural alternatives to cosmetic treatments or aesthetic medicine. Facial exercises help reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, by tightening the skin and improving blood circulation.

The benefits of facial exercises

It offers many benefits for the health and beauty of the skin, including:
  • Skin firming: Facials help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, two proteins that are essential for skin firmness. Facial exercises can help strengthen the underlying muscles, which tones the skin and improves its appearance.
  • Reduction of wrinkles and fine lines: By stimulating blood circulation and strengthening facial muscles, facial exercises reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
  • Stress reduction: like yoga, facials reduce stress and improve mood by stimulating the production of endorphins, the happy hormones.

How to do a facial exercise?

There are different exercises each aimed at strengthening different muscles of the face, here are some examples:
  • Forced Smile: Place your fingers on your cheekbones and smile in an amplified way by resisting with your fingers. Hold this position for a few seconds, then release.
  • Pout: Make an exaggerated pout by pursing your lips together and spreading your cheeks. Hold for a few seconds, then release.
  • Eyebrow raise: Place your fingers on your eyebrows and pull them upward, resisting with your fingers. Hold for a few seconds, then release.

What props are used for the facial gym?

There are many accessories that can be combined with facial exercises to help strengthen the muscles of the face.
  • Quartz roller: This is a small natural stone roller that is used to massage and stimulate the skin of the face. It works on the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, stimulates blood circulation and reduces under eye bags.
  • Silicone balls: these are small, soft balls that are used to massage the muscles of the face. They activate the blood circulation and strengthen the underlying muscles.
  • The Gua Sha: activates blood circulation and allows toxins to be drained from the lymph nodes and stimulates all layers of the skin.

These accessories are not necessary but they improve the results of the facial.

It is recommended to practice facials regularly, preferably every day for 10 to 15 minutes.
In conclusion, facial exercising is an excellent way to strengthen facial muscles, improve blood circulation and prevent skin aging. With or without accessories! Always use cosmetic products, the Corrective Response line for wrinkles and Density for sagging skin.
